Ranger 33 FWC and oil filter

I'm about to install a FWC system and oil filter in my Ranger 33 and would like comments from others on where they placed the heat exchanger and oil filter.
Thanks
Steve

Thumbs up

I found the best location for the oil filter is to mount it on the starboard side of the engine, between the flywheel and alternator. I lag bolted the filter mount to the wall separating the engine and the batteries. This gives me room to adjust the pressure and change the filter. I have pretty well decided to mount the heat exchanger also on the starboard side just rear of the engine. There is access through the quarter berth but it is a tight fit.
