Garmin debate???

Im looking at a new plotter. Looking at the 2210 and 2206. The 10 has an awsome screen but it a little bigger than I want/need. OTH, the 2206 is only a little less....Im sure the answer is yes but these come with built in GPS, right? My last plotter had an external GPS. Also they have an internal or external antenna? Anything good or bad to say about them?
Thanks in advance!

Both of these are now discontinued but excellent plotters...just a matter of which size you want. Neither comes with a built in antenna. They have an external mushroom GPS sensors. Shop around...you may find a good deal.

I thought they just came out for 2007?
EDIT:
OK, I was looking at the 3210s and found a 2210. Im not seeing any real diff?
Is it that the 22s dont interface with radar and XM? Do they work with the exernal depth finder?
Ive looked at a half a dozen sites and thay all use the Garmain web page. Not finding the answeres here.

I believe the major difference is that the older 2210 doesn't have the video inputs, or work with the XM/Radar. I believe both can do limited networking.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Yup..the new stuff gives you plug and play compatability with other networkable products like radar/XM but also other stuff like sonar down the road.
