Isovang, anyone?

Does anyone have any experience using an Isovang (the rigid vang made by Isomat)?

I’m looking to get a rigid vang for my Pearson 28, and since it has Isomat spars I figured the Isovang may be a good way to go. I’m willing to take the risk of an “orphaned” product as long as it’s a good one – your comments would be greatly appreciated…

Isovang

I'm not familiar with the Isovang. I looked hard at Garhauer-all rope tackle and no wire but inexpensive. Qwikvang-part wire tackle and expensive. My surprise purchase was a Selden Rodkicker with part wire tackle and about half the cost of the Hall Spars Qwikvang.

Garhauer has an excellent rigid vang, at a reasonable cost. I have one on my boat.

One other thing about the Garhauer rigid vang.... it's essentially semi-custom, as you send them the measurements and they make it for you IIRC.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Thanks for all the replies.
Garhauer is certainly on my list of alternatives in case I decide against the Isomat. The others are Forespar (Yacht Rod) and Hallspars (quikVang).
Any thoughts on those and how they would compare to the Garhauer?
