Tartan34C will become famous soon enough
What a shame

You need to fast around this place. What a shame, I have an interest in windvane design and would have been interested in seeing this even if it was junk. You never know when you will see a good idea that you can use.
All the best,
Robert Gainer

I agree... I'd be interested in seeing a new windvane design, and see how it works and differs from existing ones.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Sorry guys...but them's the rules. He can click through to your PM box if he wants to provide a link...since his own personal info is non-existant.
Or you can PM him with the request.

I understand the situation. No problem Cam, but it would be nice if you had a section for press releases or announcements.
Thanks and all the best,

While a section for press releases and announcements would be nice, I think it would undercut the advertising revenue system on Sailnet.

Maybe not. If you paid a fee for advertising and also had a place to put something that stays visible (in the announcement section) you get more for your money. And having a place (in the same announcement section)for others to use for free means more reasons for people to come and visit. More people mean more views for the paid advertising.

The windvane in the first post is actually more then 20 years old but finally has a website in English. I think Hanco has rushed this website along in fear of the other Dutch windvane that is being introduced at the moment which is truly new, both in time and in concept.
