Looking for Barnett Butterfly Info

I have recently resurected my old sailboat from the back yard. I has all the parts but needs some cosmetic work. Where can I get in touch with other butterfly owners to discuss my issues? My main issue is with the finish on the fiberglass hull...should I paint it or just polish it? There are a lot of fine cracks on the bottom, do these need to be repaired before painting or is there a paint that will cover them without reflecting them through? I think there are a lot of Barnett Butterfly's out there, any in North Carolina?

Ive also got a butterfly. I got it at a yardsale with no boom/sail/rudder/centerboard. Pretty much just got a hull and mast. Im trying to find info on how to build the rudder and centreboard. As for my hull, its got a nasty crack on the front where the forestay attaches. Im looking forward to getting it sailable for my sisters kids this summer. Im in South Carolina.
