Foam Luff Headsail Storage

We have taken down the relatively new fruling headsail in trade for an older, slightly larger genoa. I wish to store the 105% heavy dacron sail and save it coastal sailing and use the older sail as a working headsail. The sail is ~52' x 18', yankee cut. I want to be sure that storing the new sail does not do more harm to it than good. What is the approapriate method for folding/storing a large foam luff headsail? Is there a method to roll the sail and stow in a sail bag so that it does not crush the foam?

Good question and I suspect that there is a proper method to fold/roll it. I would call the sail maker who made the sail and ask them, even if you did not buy it your self. You might even take it in and have them show you.

A qucik inspection/repair by them may be in order and the folding will naturally follow.
