And when using Hawkeye's method, it does not hurt to have a second individual with you. If you forgot something, like a wrench, you will be standing over the hole like the Dutch boy with his finger in the dike, until someone comes along. If another person is there from the start you will, of course, insure that they are not needed. But, just in case....
