Jeanneau Spreaders

Any cures for the Jeanneau (SO-40 and others) spreader problem...sharp edges that can catch the main when you let the main out?

Ten minutes of filing might help smooth the edges some. Then try the rubberized rigging tape. (You have to stretch it to set it off, and it only sticks to itself.) We''ve used the tape on our mast fittings and such, and have to cut it off every few years to see how things are underneath, because it holds up so well.
