dual group 27 battery box

Anybody out there in Cybersail Land know where i can find a battery box that will hold 2 group 27 batterys. Also do i need to anything specail or do i just parallel them.

I don't think anyone makes a dual group 27 box. You might wanna take measurements and see if an 8D box or a commercial battery box can be adapted to your needs. Just make sure they don't rattle around or if you have room get the preferred 2 battery boxes. Just hook 'em up in standard parallel unless you want to separate then out for individual use.

If you're going to use both the Group 27's for the house bank, parallel them... The larger the house bank, the longer it will last and the easier it will be to maintain.

I am using them for the house bank. i do not have alot of room in the lazzerette of my P-27 and that is why i want the dual box. 2 boxes would take up more room and be harder to sucure. Any ideas. Maybe i can get sailor Mitch involved. He is always good with the P-27 advise

Locally I would check for an Interstate battery dealer, or a Budget Battery place, they have box's that will fit dang near ANY battery you need. I have a box for my old RV trailer that would fit 2 270Ahr 6V batteries, that box should fit 2 27's!

Building a battery box isn't all that big a task... why don't you build one to fit the two Group 27 batteries.
