That was my diagnosis...maybe you ran over the screwdriver

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things y%^&*.....oh never mind. 90% of the people on sailing forums already use that as their signature! I'm not a conformist.

So long as the keel isn't about to fall off, I think I can tackle this job myself over a weekend and save a little dough. I'll get my surveyor to back me up on this of course. I'll post photos of the outcome.
Solid glass hulls can delaminate as well...especially if there was a dry void where the glass wasn't wet with resin properly. GRP is a laminate, with or without a core.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

unless you are very skilled working with fiberglass, I'd let the guys that do it for a living repair it... a lot less worry.

We are not primarily on earth to see through one another, but to see one another through

Some people are like slinkies: not really good for anything... but you can't help laughing when you push them down the stairs
