So, I just yanked off a bit of teak trim...the trim that covers the aft edge of the 'glass hatch cover....and I noticed, underneath, some tiny gnats like bugs.
Q: do I do [something here, action verb] to them, or blow the 100 $ to replace the wood? [it's like an eyebrow]
There's no damage to the wood, per se, other than it being dark and slightly damp.
What do they look like? Not to worry you but, it could be a bigger problem. Catch some. You may need to identify them later.
BF's got a good point. You will want to catch some and store them, preferably dead but otherwise unharmed, for identification later. They could be harmless, but I would take them down to the local agriculture department for identification.
