Best oil change pump

I've got a hose connected to the oil drain plug, I think its the Jabsco kit, and I am looking for suggestions on a pump to buy. Hand pump or electric, and which one? Anyone have a practical sailor article they would be willing to share? Looking at West Marine, Tempo, Jabsco.

I just bought one called "Suck-Up" it's similar to the unit made by Moeller. I can't remember the MFR but I can look. works well and heavily constructed.

If you look at the review for the Jabsco unit on WM you will see that it is almost useless for any type of fluid extraction. I had the same type for sucking out diesel from my tank and it leaked badly and was difficult to prime. No seals on the end fittings and incredibly hard to work with once soaked with leaking diesel. This type of 'extraction pump' is almost worthless IMHO.

I have decided to buy one of the buckets with the pump on it, then take the pump off the bucket and mount it so I can connect it to the drain hose. I will then pump the oil into a container I can take to disposal. Or, if I can find the same pump, I will just buy the pump and some hose. I will also use it for the tranny if possible. I just bought a $300 BBQ for the house, I should be able to afford a $100 pump to make life easier.

I use an "Oil Boy" which is a suction apparatus ( It has a manual piston type vacuum pump.). It is the best I have ever used. There several brands available at about $65.00
