Fake Navpod / drink holder, on the cheap.

Kids:

mulling over creating my own GPS stand, either centered between the pedestal guards, or perhaps asymetric, off to the left side (it's a California thing) of the pedestal, hanging from one pedestal guard.

The short version is, $200 for a NavPod = divorce, yet I'm luke warm on the RAM mounts.

Home Depot has some stainless U bolts for $2.50 ish. Also oak plank for almost nothing.

I'll keep you informed, in the unlikely event that I make any progress.

Even I couldn't dish out the $169 for the teak cup holder. Its just insane. So, I am going to steal some teak from the atrociously large salon table support, which is due for a modification. Does your wife have any teak collectibles that she won't miss a piece or two from?

Hey, thanks for the note, btw. Nice boat..! re: parts. Would (or do I say, wood) cost me my own parts.

Not quite sure how to design this thing. Maybe I'll make a pattern.
