I have got one (Torqueedo Travel 801L), very pleased with it. It's not cheap but it's just so damn convenient. Tha battery only weighs about 3.5 Kgs, yet gives me a max range of about 12nm. It's got a real good pull; I only ever use about 1/3 power on my Walker Bay 8 tender.
There's an inbuilt chrage meter on the battery, so you can see what you have left, and the LiMn battery can be completely discharged , (unlike Lead acid which only can go to 50%) - that's what makes the battery usage much more efficient, as well as the different technology.
Also I can charge from the inverter on board, so the battery can be recharged wherever we are.
It all folds up into a bag so stores very well, and of course no problem of have to keep petrol and oil on board.
You get what you pay for - it isn't cheap, but it's streets ahead of anything else on the market.
