Passport 40 binnacle

I am in the process of replacing my original binnacle with a new one. Does anyone have any experience in this area, especially anything to look out for before beginning. I have looked at the Edson model 336 which is a classic type binnacle which appears might work. Any suggestions on how else to approach this issue. Other brands?

Thanks,
George

labatt will become famous soon enough
I don't know the exact model (since I had it done for me) but my binnacle was recently replaced with a new Edson model. It mounted slightly differently so they plugged the old mounting spots on the cockpit sole and drilled new mounting locations. It was pretty straightforward (I assume since I didn't pay a ton for it). You might ask here too..
