Standard Horizon knotmeter

I have an old Standard Horizon knotmeter that has broken impeller. I believe it is SL45 manufactured in New Zealand. Does anyone know where I can find a replacement? Is the SIA53 compatible ? I tried to get information on their web page but without success. I would be grateful if I could get a manual.

I think I have a pdf of the manual on my home PC. Message me as a reminder, and I'll e-mail it to you if I still have it. Timing is everything - I just erased it from my work PC last week, and just emptied the 'recycle bin' this morning...

Did you have any luck in finding a source for the impeller on your SL45. I also need one and can't find a source. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Guys,

I had a similar problem (broken impeller for an SL-45). I ended up replacing the whole instrument instead of using the replacement impeller, but it looked like it was the right one for the SL-45.

I got it from Gemeco Marine Accessories, 1141 South Ron McNair Blvd, Lake City, SC 29560. Tel: 843-210-7170. The fellow I spoke to at Gemeco was very helpful. I'm trying to add a picture of impeller I received from them - pardon me in advance if I screw it up. I'm a newbie at posting photos here.
