If you're trying to get rid of the smell... go to a local coffee shop—Starbucks, Seattle's Best Coffee, Peet's, etc—and ask them for 10 lbs. of used coffee grounds. Get two large plastic dishpans and dump the coffee grounds into them.... leave in the boat uncovered for a few days... it will neutralize almost any odor or smell in the boat. And no, it won't smell like coffee after this...once you remove the grounds there won't be any coffee smell either.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.
