Giu-

Photo number 2 is a towel rack... so you can see what he's talking about in photo number 1.

LOL... just remember that this is sailnet... don't try to over-think it..... I'm sure no one here is doing that.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

I know.....I am now cleaning the laughter tears out of my eyes...

You know how hard it was for me to learn the English names for stuff.

So when I see "towel rack" my brain was still in "boat" mode, nor joke mode...

So here I am googeling Towel+rack+boat+sail...try it.....ehehehehe

My apologies, Giulietta. It's just occured to me that you speak Brazilian. Just like they do in Portugal. That's pretty neat, so I will try to tailor my jokes from now on accordingly.....

BTW, that picture is from the CDI website, the company that makes roller furling systems for people who won't change out their masts. Not pretty, by any stretch of the imagination. And I think this is the system refered to earlier in this thread regarding fly-away luffs and such. Not very efficient, I'd think. Plus on a boat as small as the one in the pic, roller mains does not seem like money well spent.......

Ohh Rick.....yes please please..I don't care...just send me you picture, you can post it here..I am but a poor lonely man with no friends and relatives...my days are grey and dull......sigh.....

I sit here all day long in chat rooms, speaking Brasilian...I am a lonely cold hearted man....I warm my days up with pictures of people I meet on line....

I have been gathering photos of people from around the World...I call it the "friends of Alex" album....sigh...

Well be back soon, have to go water my dear plants, and feed the 12 stray dogs I saved from sudden death....I have one with only 3 legs, that barks mute....poor thing.....I am a sad man....
