Liquid sandpaper?

Guys:

Curious if anyone has any experience with this stuff. I'm two (2) months in on varnishing, and running out of bandwidth / wife is about to shoot me.

I'm using Epifanes wood finish, do not need to sand all the time, but have gone > 72 hours, so need another sanding pass. Last one took about ten hours.

Thanks.

Liquid sandpaper is a deglossing agent used for interior enamel finishes, I am not sure it will work for varnish. Have you asked Epiphanes at their toll free #?

Called epifanes. they said 1) 72 hours between coats is it, without sanding (this for wood finish, only) and 2) use 320#.

not keen on liquid sandpapeer. "We're old fashioned."

So jury is still out. I guess I'll use 320#.
