Question head lube

What's the best lubricant to use when replacing gaskets on a W and C "Headmate"?

Best? Probably Krytox grease but at around $10/oz. there are cheaper ways to go.

I'd use any good silicone grease, they're durable and inexpensive. Shouldn't cause any problems against rubber, plastic, or other materials in a head.

Lubing is not necessary with our current Lavacs, but I used teflon lube on our old boat head - waterproof and lasted a long time.

I have read the advice and tried using baby oil (maternity department) on heads plumbing. I am not sure it does either good or harm though
