Cool/Fall Weather Jacket Recommendations?

There are many foul/cool weather jackets out there.

Do you have a particular brand and style you like more than others?

Generally, layers are preferable in the cool/Fall season on the water. If inshore and above 50 degrees, my wife and I both like our Henri Lloyd Breeze vests, in Navy, as a light shell over either a long sleeved crew, or long sleeved fleece (we have both Patagonia and Gill) for cooler temps.

We also both still wear the Gill Coastal Lite jackets we've had for several years, for damper weather - layered over a sweater.

Heavier weather brings out the offshore foulies - Gill Key West is one I've had for about 5 years now. Not as good as Musto or Henri Lloyd, but got a great price during a local sailing outfitter's annual sale.

A moisture wicking underlayer, fleece as a mid layer, and then foulies as a top layer are usually good.
