Interprotect 2000E with 3000

Re fiberglass barrier coat - Anyone know of any issues applying Interprotect 3000 first over a clean/sanded gelcoat then appling the 2000E over the 3000 before doing the antifoul ? Any benefits to even using the 3000 as a base barrier/prime coat before the 2000 ? I'm getting many mixed opinions from the sales people. Thanks.

Why would you apply Interprotect 3000? Just use Interprotect 2000E as the barriercoat/primer.

The only real time you'd want to use Interprotect 3000 is if you're in california, where it isn't legal to buy the Interprotect 2000E IIRC. The only differences between the two is that IP3000 is low VOC and capable of low-temperature application, which IP2000E isn't.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

In addition, the 3000 is listed for professionals only iirc
