yanmar three cylinder

I'm considering repowering my CSY 33 with a Yanmar 3JH4E. Would like to know your opinions on that engine.

It is a good engine. I found it a little more noisy and vibrates more than the 4 cylinder version. Pretty bullet proof though. You will like it. I personally think it is one of the best options for sailors at that HP.

Rockter will become famous soon enough
If it's Japanese, it's going to be a good 'un.

Look also at the Kubota-based Beta marine motors.

Don't let them overheat though... the aluminium blocks will warp on either motor.
