Builder's Logo

I'm looking to put a manufacturer's logo on my sails. Is this a service provided by sailmakers? Are there any do it yourself decals you can get. My boat is a San Juan so contacting the builder is no good. Any imput would be helpful.Thanks!

Take the sails to any sailmaker in the near vicinity - they should be able to do it for you.

If the insignia is 'uncomplicated' or simple, get some self adhesive 'insignia cloth' from a sailmakers supply, cut out the pattern you want and simply 'stick' it to the sail. Insignia cloth is made from ripstop nylon, comes attached to a releasable carboard backing for easy cutting.
For a 'stronger' more lasting insignia, use self adhesive Vinyl ... the same material that 'sail numbers' are made.

I just ordered a new sail and sailmaker put my manufacturers insignia on the sail, even though I didn't ask for that. I did send them my old sail for measurements but insignia and numbers were their idea. The point is - most sailmakers can do it quickly and, probably, not too expensively. I'd go with that for a more professional look.
