Enko self-tailing winches

Hello,
does anybody knows Enko winches? I can't find any information about them.
Thanks a lot
Peter

I think Holland Marine in Toronto, Ontario, Canada used to sell them, and may still do so. If you can't find information anywhere, you could give them a call.
Frank.

I just downloaded their catalog, where I see ENKES winches. Is this what I am looking for or are there really ENKO winches?
Thanks

No, it's Enkes, and they are a pretty decent winch. You might like Andersen winches, as well, if you want to get away from the Lewmar/Harken styles.

Winches are so damned expensive that it is a good idea to find what little testing and reviews are out there...Practical Sailor is good for this.
