Question Depth Finder

My old Standard Harizon depth finder went south this last weekend. As this model has been discontinued I am looking for recomendations. I would like to stay with the simple panel mount depth finder with a display large enough to read across the length of the cockpit, about seven feet. I will consider a used instrument if it is compatable with my existing transducer.
Thanks - Duke

This might be of some help. http://www.signetmarine.com/ I had mine repaired and I bought a new transducer. Not cheap, but really good service and good to know they are there if you need them.

I had the same problem a couple of years ago; my old Standard Horizon depth sounder died and it was no longer serviced by Standard. I found another one on ebay but it was a little newer model that they still do service.
Another alternative for 5" round instruments is http://www.moorelectronics.com/sailing/sailing.html
They advertise in Good Old Boat.
