We will need a little help reading your mind.

You'll have to be a little more specific if you want answers

I am not familiar with a "Tarten", where are they built? I know of a Tartan 10?

Windship-

You basically asked to get trashed because of the vagueness of your original post. If you want specific help, the more information you can provide the better the help you will get. Garbage in ----> Garbage out.

Your reaction is basically that of an immature brat... you asked a stupid question that did not have sufficient information in it to be answered properly, and then you cop an attitude when you get answers you don't like. Just because they've read any of your other posts, doesn't mean that they can read you tiny mind in this one. We're sailors, not psychics.

Saying "I need help on the exhaust system." doesn't mean jack... and whining about the answers you got doesn't help you any. Exactly, how is someone supposed to figure out that you need help in re-assembling the exhaust system from your question... Can you answer that??

You should probably have said that you needed assistance in re-assembling it, because someone else disassembled it and left it that way.

You should also have said what engine the exhaust system was to, and whether it was a water-lift or a dry stack exhaust.

Read this post. It's got a good bit of information on how to get the most out of Sailnet, and how to ask a good question. Vague or poorly worded questions, without the information to clarify what knowledge is actually being sought out, generally get one of two responses on sailnet—they either get ignored or ridiculed.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Thanks for following up on your original note after 3.5 months. You might wanna re-read your original request as it was a classic example of someone requesting help while offering NO details upon which to base a response other than:
1. I have an exhaust
2. I have a "Tarten" 34
3. I need help.

Sheesh.

Have you tried the TCA34.org site? Probably a better location to get the specific answers you are lookiing for.

I have neither taken mine apart, or put it together. I could probably get some photos of it for you in a couple of weeks if it would help. There are several people on the 34 owners site that I'm sure could help with photo's and/or diagrams.
