TB-

I just get really suspicious when someone is soliciting high-resolution photographs and has posted the same message to start two different threads, one of which the MODS were kind enough to wipe. I've seen enough photo sites that try to take away the rights of the photographers to let something like that slide. I do agree, he seems to be a 20-year-old owner of a Catalina 22... but other people on this forum have claimed to be something their not.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Sorry to come off as sketchy; I can understand your concerns. By no means do I intend to make a profit off of this website, as web design is a hobby of mine, and this site will give me an opportunity to combine multiple interests. The message was intended for casual photographers who might be willing to share some of their better photographs for the sheer viewing pleasure of others. If, by any means, you are concerned about unauthorized use of your images, don't submit them. The idea is to provide a series of some of the better sailing photographs in an attractive fashion to those who will appreciate them.

I also apologize for the duplicate post. I didn't realize that there were so many common users throughout the various boards.

WV (first initials) Nutt (last name) I am a UNC student; a tar heel born and bred: far from a WV mountaineer.

Sorry for the miscommunication. I hope some of you choose to make some submissions, as I have received many from alternative categories. As of now, it appears that the site will be a success. Sailing will surely be one of the better sideshows. Thanks.

WVNutt-

Thanks for the clarification. I'd be interested in taking a look at the site. I do some web design, both for work and for myself. If you have questions on CSS issues, let me know.

And I am the owner of the beautiful 1983 Catalina 22 Soulmate (soon to be changed)--my first of many cruisers. Sadly, she is on the trailer to bear the miserable cold that will inevitably come with winter. I've got my fingers crossed, hoping for an early spring.

Best wishes for success with both of your hobbies WV, the website and sailing. I wish you fair winds for the next season.
