Yanmar 3QM30 hose question

I am going up to Rock Hall Friday night to fetch my boat (I'm in NC). In addition to spare filters, impeller, etc, I've been advised to bring replacement hose.

From this photo:

Can someone tell what size the black hoses in the photo should be?

The engine seems to run great. Started right up after sitting a long time but i am wide open to any other comments ya'll might have looking at the picture.

thanks

I really can't tell the size of the hose, maybe 1.25? It looks like your chain needs to be greased and possibly your belts dressed. Your pulleys look rusty.

I can't tell the size either and 1.25 is my best guess also, but I was really hoping someone with that engine could tell me specifically.

Obviously this engine will get a lot of attention when I get it home but for now we are just looking a deal-breaker problems.

Hello,

I wouldn't bother to bring extra hose. A large roll of duct tape, yes, but hose, no.

good luck,
Barry

Hert...

I advise you strongly to turn the intake for the air filter downward, unless you are sinking, that is.

A big splash of water in there will really hurt the motor if it is running.

Join the Yahoo group email list for Yanmar. Someone there can answer your question. It's a pretty active list.
