Over the years I've found that AUTO Upholstery shops are more reasonable than marine shops for making up cushions.
1. Trace out the exact pattern you want on paper for each cushion.
2. Get CLOSED cell foam specified so they don't soak up water.
3. Use sunbrella fabric or similar sun protected stuff if you want them to last.
Good luck & welcome aboard!

Hey, kd...

Given the size of the boat, or maybe, just because I'm cheap, you might want to consider Ikea. I haven't done it, but somebody I ran into did it, and boy, you could save some big money. Little velcro or some snaps, and you're set.

Cushions

Check out Bottomsiders. They,re not cheap but they're real good. Apparently I'm not allowed to post the link but if you do a Google search they're easy to find.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

So, I was trying to remember where I'd heard about the Ikea cushions....and then I ran across Russ, who has a Newport 27 near my boat.

Turns out, he was the guy! I saw em, and they look nice.

$30. Like chaise lounge pads, or something.

a true bargain.

Ditto,

Makes a good floating debris field for MOB drill. Also used for swimming floats.

Fair Winds,

Bill
