Pettit Easypoxy Sandtone

Hey all-- a very specific question here. Has anyone painted their boat in Easypoxy Sandtone, and if so, do you have a photo you could share? I find it a little difficult to translate from sample to boat.... we're looking for kind of a light khaki color.... Thanks! PS We're on the way to the boat right now, so I won't be able to respond for a day or so.... which may be good--

IMHO, if your going to be painting the cabintop and deck, you'd be much better off using a two-part LPU paint like Awlcraft. It will last a good deal longer and look better than the one part paints like Easypoxy, if the surface is properly prepped. :D

And you're probably going to REALLY feel that way if you find out that what we're thinking of painting is the hull.

LOL.. Yup.. I am... ;) Rolling and tipping gives pretty good results... but 95% of the real work is the prep. IMHO, if you don't do a good job prepping the hull... don't bother painting it... :)
