Spiniker Pole

Is there a method for working out the length of a spiniker pole. We brought a 20''er and one of the previous owners must have thrown it out.

The lenght of spi pole, almost always, is the distance J.

J is the measure (over the deck) from the front of the mast to the extreme of the bow up to the headstay.

It also depends on the measure of the SPI.

The foot lenght SPINAKER is usually 1.8 times the lenght of the pole.
