Improving the V-berth hatch

The hatch over the v-berth on my 82 Morgan 321 doesn't seat properly. Before I start repairing / remodeling, it would help to see pictures or drawings that would show me the proper INSIDE configuration and gaskets needed for this hatch.
Your help will be greatly appreciated.
