Sails

Can anyone recommend a good place for used sails in the Southern California area. I mean besides Mini's.

Maru,

Mini's (Newport Beach) is the only place I know of. I just replaced the main on my Catalina 30 Tall Rig and I still have the old main. You can have it if you want, free. Some rust stains and fraying on the leech. PM me if you are interested.

They're not in California, but Bacon Sails has a wicked good selection for a lot of boats. They're on the web at their namesake .com.

Thanks for the info and the offer but it's a Dreadnought 32 and very hard to fit.

Maru - if you know the rigging dimensions (the I,P,E or whatever they are) or the sail dimensions, you can enter them into Bacon's website and see what they have. Can't hurt to click around for a little bit. There are other lofts around the country that carry used sails. Shipping could still be worth it.
