Which aluminum for diesel tanks?

We are going to be making up some new tanks and was wondering what grade of aluminum to use.

Practical Sailor had an informative article in May, 2007
Aluminum alloy 5052, 5083 or 5086 series and minimum thickness of .o9 inches...7 pp article discusses varied tank materials, connections, etc.

Some of the on-line tank manufact. also list references to aluminum series used.
