Garhauer Deck Organizers-Opinions?

I''m seeking input from owners of Garhauer deck organizers. Price is very attractive.

Garhauer Deck Organizers-Opinions?

I have been very impressed with the Garhauer hardware and blocks in particular that I have encountered over the years. While I have not used one of their deck organizers, I have their blocks all over my current boat and they seem to have held up well. I need to replace my deck organizer and will probably go with the Garhauer.

In my experience the worst blocks are the plastic sheave Schaefers with Ronstan a close second. Their sheaves do not stand up well in the sun. On my Laser 28 I replaced every Schaefer at least once, but did not have to replace the Harkens or the one Garhauer (which I bought well used to repalce a Schaefer block for a reefing turning block) that I had on board.

On my boat I have replaced almost every thing with Garhauer, I even have a Garhauer powervang. All of it is as good if not better than anything out there with the exception of weight. Most of the hardware is slightly heaver than other manufacturers, but if you are not racing, it is the best way to go . Besides being less expensive, all the blocks come with a 10 year warranty.
