Ronstan Trackless Battcars

Has anybody tried these? I saw a display at Fisheries Supply retail store and it really looked pretty solid. I will be adding a mainsail system of some sort this spring, currently leaning towards the Tides Mairne Strong Track solution due to the affordability factor. I belieive I was quoted $24 ft. This system would reduce weight aloft since there is no track invloved.

Does anybody have any thoughts on Ronstan product quality, durability and warranty?

Those look pretty good... but I haven't used them... Might be worth seeing if PS did anything on them.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

OK, their website has a few issues. here is the link to the main info about their battcar systems.

their bast selection guide is a bit backwards, not sure why they did not list the slide type instead of listing a slew of boat/mast manufacturers.

Can't speak to the Ronstan system, but I do have the Strong Track and am quite pleased with it.

I have similar cars on my mainsail (forget the manufacturer, though). I had an interesting issue, to say the least, having the sail installed (one of those things you'd never guess would be a problem until you put it together). Works pretty well, though.
