Having used thousands of booties when I ran a dogteam I've thought the same thing about a "deck shoe" type dog bootie. A spandex bootie with some "GooP" or something similar may do the trick. It would have to be non-marking of course. Dogs will naturally get up on their toenails when on something slick which many times isn't the best course of action for them - a non-skid bootie would be great if someone can get one to work.

As for them walking like a spaz with booties on -- as soon as they have something to do they'll forget they're wearing them.

Punjabi...thought you might be interested in this:

Being European my dog has received English education....he's a gentleman...as you can see form his photo....

He has Portuguese, English US and German passports...applying for a Swiss passport now.... as he is into "Haute Horologerie" and chocolate.

He speaks English, Portuguese, Spanish French, Italian and german...can tune pianos, calculate thermodynamics and paints oil paintings...likes a good bitch and drinks ale beer....

He can also calculate balistic trajectories with his Harvard Aeronautical degree...so his 10lb turds land on a 3" piece of paper....
He thinks he's a genious but he's not...you should see my son...he's much smarter than the dog....and can sail...

He just can't stand sailing...typical British......

That is one dapper dog Giu. Mine's a border collie. Very smart too. She can cook her own dinner...typically filet mignon with a balsamic peppercorn reduction sauce. She attended Oxford on scholarship for two years, but dropped out because she wasn't "intellectually stimulated" enough. When not solving complex mathematical equations, she enjoys chess...and crapping all over the yard.
