teak rubrail repair

Our 1972 Cape Dory 30 has teak rubrails which have worn down significantly near the bow from the chafing of mooring pennants. I'd like to bring the rails up to original by filling and then capping them with some stainless quarter round to eliminate the problem. Can anyone suggest a suitable wood filling product...or other options?
