Visibility has changed from bathroom privacy glass to nearly 100% clear. I am pretty excited to try this out underway.. but aunt "gale" is visiting all week it seems
This is pretty much an experiment best I can tell.. never seen anyone else make a window like this. If all goes well it will last the normal life of dodger canvas. My suspicion is the glue joint will start to fail gradually. The way I designed it the plexiglass is trapped in the canvas with additional stitching, so maybe if/when the glue starts to fail it can be nursed along with minor repairs for a while. The pics:
Now for those old ratty side panels... anyone have a recommendation for those?
yea why not try to heat and bend the same stuff for your front sides and do the same. the panel you made is really clear. do you leave it attached as shown or do you/ can you flip it up for air flow etc.
