Self-steering gear options: Cap Horn?

I''ve beat the self-steering manufacturers to death. To me, the Cap Horn unit appears elegant in its simplicity in both installation and engineering. It also implicates $1000 minimum savings. Fleming looks good, as does Sailomat. I''ve seen several Monitors here in the VI with disconcerting rust coatings at the joints and have heard of the welds failing. Anyone got anything negative to say about Cap Horn before I toss two large? KW

I too went through the same thing before choosing a cape horn . I have had mine for about a year with no problems .
