I prefer Twinnings English Breakfast -- produces a nice golden hue on 9 oz dacron.

Just curious... why do you want to stain your sails???

Personally, I'd recommend a good earl grey tea.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Hey, try red wine, much better than tea bags. What are you talking about!

Shannon.....it's one thing to waste tea (in fact, the American Revolution started that way), but it's quite another to waste good wine. Your suggestion is revolting.

Twinnings Irish Breakfast Tea is a bit more robust, but Bigelow's Cinammon Stick could impart a pleasant aroma.

Like the Dawg though, I'm curious about why you want to stain them.

You're right. Ok, how about Portugese red wine.
