Wauquiez Centurion 42

To all,

We have a Wauquiez Centurion 42 built in 1985. Does anyone know who manufactured the steering pedestal installed on this boat. Could be Plastimo, Wichard, who else? Any information would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Bill & Janet

Why not call Wauquiez, since they're still in business, they can probably tell you what they used.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Unfortunately Wauquiez is now owner and the boats are built by Beneteau. I'm told there is no corporate memory pertaining to the '85 steering pedestal.

Thanks

Can you post a photo of the pedestal??? You'll need at least 10 posts to post a photo, and I'd recommend you read this post to learn some things about sailnet, like the simplest way to post photos.

You might look at the Goiot website. A lot of parts on my 85 Jeanneau are from that manufacture!
