If the label is correct, I doubt it is the engine interfering with the compass. Is this using a wheel pilot or an under deck quadrant steering drive? What kind of mechanism is the autopilot using: hydraulic or mechanical? Is the oscillation random or is it predictable?
I think Cam maybe correct that you're getting some interference with the control head. One thing to check—Does it happen if the engine is running but the transmission is in neutral? If not, then it probably isn't electrical interference from the engine, but mechanical interference of some sort.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.
