Need circuit breaker panel
I've been searching for a source for reasonably priced circuit breaker panels for my Morgan 34. Any ideas other than Defender? Used, in good condition is ok. Thanks!

It would help if you said how many positions you need in the panel. Also, if you have any dimensional requirements, such as height or width, you should probably mention them.

Have you checked the Sailnet store? I got the best price from them on both an A/C and D/C panel from Bluesea.

I need 10-15 position dc breaker panel, and yes, i'll look in sailnet. The bluesea are nice but soooo expensive -- paneltronics seem pretty pricey too.

If you want Blue Sea panels, have some time, and are patient, set yourself some auto searches on ebay. I picked up a large DC panel with volt/ammeters, and a basic AC panel - both new - for about 1/3 of discounted new price.

West Marine is due for their spring tent sale... I bought the wood grain panel with 10 fuse / switches for 9 bucks last year at one of the tent sales... never used it but ..you may also want to check some of the second hand marine stores in your area as well...
But personally, I do prefer the Blue Marine product line myself....its worth the extra bucks... My c27 filled up with water when on the hard this winter, the windows were taped but I had not tarped... 5 feet of water inside, covered the electrical panel... drained - checked electrical systems - even though the Blue Marine panels were submerged they still worked after I dried everything out...You get what you pay for in other words and so I don't look at the price tag nearly as negatively as I used to...

Defender will have their spring sale next weekend...so might be a good choice to check out as well.
e-Bay and Craigslist are both good options as well.
The 12-position panels seem to be fairly common.

I freaked because I had a small leak which ended up being a fixed port ( which I need to fix, this spring ). I would have needed to call 911 if I saw 5 feet of water in the boat. Hell I may not be alive to even type this.

SailorMitch,
Cyber-Marine is the same as Sailnet. Prices are the same too.
