Teak Channel To Hide Wires In

Does anyone know of a source for teak channel or moldings to run/hide wires in ? I been looking for it with little luck.

Boat US and West Marine carry it, as I'm sure other marine chandleries do. Failing that, it's easy to make if you have a table saw :-)

At the price they get you might, as Bill suggests, check out some of the marinas for scrap pieces to make your own. If you don't have a table saw, which is the easiest way to make them, you could get by with a circular saw and a router to do so.

Home Depot...Ryobi Hand Power Tools...Power Trimmer...3/8" router bit...not giving any money to West Marine...priceless.

WM is going to ask you to bend over to pay for the teak... if you can make it yourself, you'd be way ahead of the game.

I did make the mouldings for my counters in the galley. I did it with a dado blade on a table saw, which I no longer have. I need to rack my brain to which of my friends have wood working tools. I can buy teak local.

I would think you could find a friend with even a bench top type table saw and basic wood working tools...

Edit: We must have been typing at the same time...Or you could fly over and use my shop...

You might just wander over to the high school if they have a wood shop or the vo-tech center and make nice with the instructor. He could justify the table saw usage by being able to show his classes some teak-not the most common of woods.

for sure re WM - must cheaper sources for teak - check local lumber yards.

my new name for WM is BOHICA....bend over here it comes again....
