Bottom Boat Strip/Paint in Upper Barnegat Bay, New Jersey

I need to have the bottom of my boat stripped and painted. It is a Catalina 270. My current boat yard wants $3500 to do this before she goes in the water. I was thinking maybe I could save money by putting her in the water and finding a new yard to do it somewhere else in the Barneget Bay above the Barneget Inlet.

Does anyone know of someone reliable to do this? I would also consider a yard that would let me do it myself and pay them for the space I take up, etc.

Any help is appreciated!
Thanks!
Tres

Hi, The only DIY yards I know of, anywhere near you, would be on the Cohansey River, off Delaware Bay. There are 2 yards in Greenwich, that are very reasonable. $3500 for a 27' boat is outrageous IMO.
