I'm impressed with Garmins cartography vs. C-map on our other boat, although I haven't had a chance to use the new one much yet.

i have been pretty pleased w/ my 3210.ability to add XM weather when i want (they'll suspend your account for months not needed or used..no reason to pay for what ya can't use).
i mounted mine on an articulating swing arm to display in the companionway. not a huge fan of wet electronics.
it will also interface w/ my autopilot..been reliable enough, although i'm still a firm believer in 'local knowledge' i steer clear of where i'm told...
learning all the menu sequences has always been my biggest issue w/ this or any other chartplotter.

What autopilot are you using? I'm thinking about getting an autopilot, and I'm trying to figure out how many work good with the 3210.

Jiffy...they all work off NEMA...so they all work good. Making the decision to interface your autopilot with your plotter is something I and others here do not recommend and there are recent threads on the subject.
