Line on Hood Seafurl 3250

Hi All, I have an older Hood Seafurl 3250 roller furling. It's time to replace the line in the drum. Does anyone know the procedure for this? There is nothing in the manual I have that mentions anything about dealing with the line. I also can't find anythong on Hood's web site. I can see where the line goes into an eye on the drum, but I can't figure out how to get at it to remove it and attach a new one. I guess I could just start disassembling things until I eventually stumble upon what I have to take apart to get to it-- but jeezum what a backwards approach.

Follow-up: I discovered that the line feeds through the eye, makes a 90 degree turn, and exits the bottom of the drum through 1 of 4 small holes where it is fitted with a retainer. So no need to disassemble anything.

I replaced mine with a slightly smaller diameter but stronger line so that it would wrap better around the drum and not jam.

Usually I use Sta-Set or Sta-set X but any good double braid will do, I use 3/8 and core about a third of it to fit the drum. There are some flat lines now made for furling use but they are pretty pricey. They do sell line on this site.
