Reuse diesel fuel

Just wanted to ask what's probably a foolish question. I had some bad diesel fuel on my boat. My fuel filter was full of water and black gunk a week after changing it out. So I decided to take the fuel tank out and pressure wash it at a car wash, lots of black gunk came out.

For now on I'm going to start using baja filter.

Do you think I can filter and refuel the diesel that came out of the tank or just find a way to discard it and move on??

Just get rid of it - its probably not worth the time or effort to filter and hope it is still any good.
